This page explains how Scrum and Kanban work and how their practices line up with the standard project-management steps they most resemble.

Reference only: nothing here reads a project or a date.

2 methods · 1 fully crosswalked · 1 with a guide-only practice

A practice is crosswalked when it names the PMBOK-6 process or technique it most nearly resembles; "fully crosswalked" means every practice in the method has one. A "guide-only" practice has no PMBOK-6 equivalent to name — it is explained by its own guide alone, the way a guide-only technique elsewhere in Driftless has no assistant built for it.

Kanban
A way of managing ongoing work by making it visible, capping how much runs at once, and improving steadily.
Scrum
A short, repeating cycle where a small team builds a piece of the product and checks in often.
